Fishing intelligence for mobile
Know When They'll Bite.
Should you go? When? What to throw? How? Get Bit answers those four questions with weather, water, tide, and a deterministic BiteScore™ — not a social network.
Catch spots stay private. BiteScore is calculated on the server — AI only explains.
0–100
BiteScore for your spot and species, rebuilt from conditions — not crowd hype.
Two windows
Morning and evening bite windows so you know when to be on the water.
Private log
Your catches and coordinates stay on your account. Other anglers never see them.
The intel
All the answers you need before you launch.
Get Bit is built around Today: a score, the next bite windows, and what to throw — then a week of forecast, a map of saved spots, and a private logbook.
Today
Find the bite, not a hotspot feed.
BiteScore™ rates the next hours for the water and species you picked. Tap through the factors — weather, water, tide — and see why the score moved. Ask Get Bit if you want the score explained in plain language.
BiteScore
78
GREAT
- Stable weather and a moving tide
- Water in the preferred range
- Peak in the morning window
When to fish
Best times, not a 7-day teaser.
Today shows the next morning and evening windows. Forecast lays out the week so you can pick the day worth the ride — still scored the same way, still for your species.
Windows
- This morning · 6:30 – 8:30
- This evening · 6:00 – 8:00
- 7-day forecast with hourly scores
What to throw
Local reports, minus the guesswork.
Recommendations rank lures for the conditions and species — Senko, worms, swimbaits, and the rest of the box. Open a lure to see how to fish it, then Learn for knots and the full library.
Throw
- Senko · Green Pumpkin
- Texas-rigged plastic worm
- Paddle tail when the wind picks up
Map & log
Your spots. Your catches. Nobody else’s.
Save lakes and defaults, score a pin on the map, and keep a logbook with photos. Catch locations are private by default — Get Bit will not turn your honey hole into a public pin.
Private by default
- Saved spots and a default lake
- Score any pin on the map
- Logbook photos stay on your account
How it works
Three steps. Then go fish.
No feed to scroll. Pick water, pick a species, get a score you can act on.
1. Pick a spot
Use your location, a saved lake, or a pin on the map. Get Bit pulls weather, water, and tide for that point.
2. Choose a species
Largemouth, inshore, and the rest of the list. Scores and lure ranks follow the fish you actually target.
3. Read the briefing
BiteScore, windows, and what to throw. Ask Get Bit if you want the why — the number still comes from the model.
Not a catch map
Built for anglers who keep spots quiet.
Social fishing apps show where people caught fish. Get Bit shows whether you should go, based on conditions. Your log is a notebook, not a broadcast.
What we don’t do
- No public catch heatmap
- No follower feed of honey holes
- No selling your personal information
- No AI-invented scores
FAQ
Questions before you download.
What is BiteScore?
A 0–100 score for a spot and species, built from weather, water, and tide. It is calculated on our servers. Ask Get Bit can explain the number; it does not invent it.
Will you share my catch locations?
No. Catch locations are private by default. Other anglers cannot see where you caught fish. Read the Privacy Policy.
Is Get Bit free?
Get Bit is a mobile app for iOS and Android. Account features and any store pricing are shown in the listing when you download.
Does a high score mean I will catch fish?
No. BiteScore and lure suggestions are informational. They are not a guarantee of fish, safety, or that a lure is legal where you fish. Check local regulations yourself.
What waters does it cover?
Get Bit scores the point you pick using weather, water, and tide providers. If location is off, Today can still score a fallback lake so you can see how the briefing works.
